Telephone Sales Consultant – Onsite

About the role

Blue Ocean Corporation is seeking a motivated Telephone Sales Consultant to join our training academy team. You will be responsible for identifying prospective learners, presenting our programs, and closing sales while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target potential individuals for the academy’s training programs.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
• Research prospects to understand their specific training and development needs.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of program offerings.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts and close sales.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure program delivery meets expectations.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and performance metrics.
• Provide post‑sales support and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Handle class coordination and respond to student queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of sales experience, preferably in training or education.
• Knowledge of training and development programs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new training offerings.
