Treasury Accountant

About the role

Blue Ocean Marine is seeking a Treasury Accountant to manage daily treasury and cash operations at its Mansheya office in Alexandria. You will ensure accurate cash handling, bank transactions, and compliance with internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and disburse cash, preparing cash receipt and payment vouchers.
• Perform daily cash counts and reconcile treasury balances.
• Record treasury transactions in the ERP/accounting system.
• Manage bank deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
• Monitor and settle employee advances, petty cash, and imprests.
• Coordinate with internal departments for timely payments and collections.
• Maintain accurate financial records and produce treasury/banking reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Treasury Accountant or Treasury & Bank Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, and banking procedures.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
