Treasury Operations Manager

About the role

The Treasury Operations Manager supports the Al Futtaim Global Treasury Centre and its business units by managing liquidity, loans and forex operations and ensuring treasury payments are executed smoothly. The role contributes to Treasury projects that improve productivity and mitigate risk, acting as a liaison with the Global Treasury Centre, business finance and banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Liquidity management: prepare daily liquidity reports for all group bank accounts and Treasury exposures, verify transfer letters manually or online, and execute Treasury payments accurately.
• Loan and deposit operations: support reporting on the loan portfolio, prepare drawdown, settlement, rollover and pre-settlement letters, submit deposit placement requests and update loan schedules.
• Inter-company loans: control and reconcile loans between group entities, fix interest, revalue loans, handle audit requests and close out project-related loans, and resolve accounting queries.
• Forex and derivatives: confirm and settle foreign exchange after reviewing bank confirmations, and complete confirmation matching and settlement accurately.
• Accounting and audit: record treasury transactions (loans, liquidity, forex) in SAP TRM/ERP, close month-end activities, post journals accurately and on time, and ensure audit compliance with PwC requirements.
• Treasury projects: support the Senior Manager in identifying productivity improvements and risk mitigation, take part in initiatives such as in-house banking/cash pooling, SAP TRM and SWIFT rollouts, and help with testing, training, SOPs and project workshops.

Required profile

• Master's degree in commerce.
• Minimum five years of experience in the Treasury function of medium to large organizations or banks.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and process-oriented skills, good communication skills and ability to plan and prioritize tasks.

• Proficiency with ERP systems for treasury management (SAP TRM mentioned).
• Analytical skills to manage complex treasury operations.
