UI UX Designer

About the role

Join Boutiqaat’s beauty‑focused e‑commerce team as a UI/UX Designer. You will own the end‑to‑end design of web and mobile experiences, turning research insights into intuitive, on‑brand interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user research, interviews, surveys and usability testing to uncover needs and pain points.
• Translate findings into personas, journey maps, information architecture, user flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes.
• Create high‑fidelity UI designs, responsive layouts and visual components for web, mobile and internal platforms.
• Prepare design specifications, assets and handoff documentation for developers.
• Apply UX best practices to improve usability, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and overall experience.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, QA and PMs to ensure designs are built to spec.
• Develop and maintain a design system, style guides and UI component libraries.
• Stay up‑to‑date with UI/UX trends, tools and AI‑assisted design technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing research, UI design and prototypes.
• Experience designing web/mobile platforms in an Agile environment, preferably in e‑commerce or retail tech.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
