University Admissions Counselor (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time University Admissions Counselor to deliver end‑to‑end guidance to high‑school students across the Middle East who are applying to universities worldwide. The role involves assessing student profiles, building university shortlists, supporting application preparation and helping students navigate offers and enrollment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations to evaluate students’ academic records, interests, career goals, budget and destination preferences.
• Assist students in selecting suitable majors, countries and universities and create balanced shortlists based on fit, admission likelihood and affordability.
• Develop personalized application plans, timelines and action steps.
• Guide students through UCAS, Common App and direct university application portals, including personal statements, essays, CVs and activity lists.
• Review applications and supporting documents for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Monitor deadlines, track requirements and follow up on pending items.
• Advise on scholarships, financial aid and funding opportunities.
• Prepare students for admissions interviews and support offer evaluation and university selection.
• Provide regular progress updates to students, parents and the internal team, and maintain detailed records on the Univeera platform.
• Participate in webinars, workshops and informational sessions for students and parents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology, student services or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in university admissions counseling, school counseling, international education or education consulting.
• Proven experience assisting high‑school students with international university applications.
• Strong knowledge of UCAS and the Common Application.
• Familiarity with direct university application portals and international scholarship processes.
