Vet Clinic Secretary

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position supports a veterinary clinic in New Cairo as the first point of contact for clients. The secretary ensures smooth front‑desk operations, handles inquiries, schedules appointments, and maintains accurate client records while assisting with day‑to‑day administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Greet clients, answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries.
• Schedule veterinary appointments and manage the clinic calendar.
• Maintain and update client and patient records in the clinic system.
• Process invoices, coordinate inventory, and assist with basic bookkeeping.
• Organise calendars, arrange meetings and support clinic staff in daily operations.
• Provide courteous and professional service to clients and colleagues.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in a clinic or similar front‑desk environment (fresh graduates are also welcome).
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office software and scheduling tools.
• Basic knowledge of data entry platforms.
• Willingness to learn veterinary terminology and clinic procedures.
