About the role
The Welcome Drink Hostess greets guests as they arrive at Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile, creating a warm first impression. You will ensure the front‑of‑house area is tidy, assist with guest inquiries, and support the overall dining experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the front‑of‑house and dining areas.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Escort guests to their tables or designated areas.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and promptly.
- Introduce servers to guests and facilitate smooth service.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or any food‑and‑beverage environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a great memory.
- Organizational skills and a cooperative attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
Required skills
- Familiarity with Opera or a related property management system.
