Business Development Executive (Digital Marketing Agency)

About the role

Dot IT is looking for a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to drive growth, build strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities across various industries. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in selling digital marketing services and managing the full sales cycle within a digital marketing agency.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and engage potential clients through networking, referrals, outbound outreach and partnerships
• Conduct discovery meetings to understand clients' goals, challenges and marketing needs
• Present and recommend digital marketing solutions such as SEO, social media marketing, web development, branding and content marketing
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare customised proposals and business solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to proposal, negotiation and deal closure
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, follow up on opportunities and keep accurate records of leads and sales activities
• Research the market to spot industry trends, competitor activity and new opportunities
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of business development or sales experience within a digital marketing agency
• Proven experience selling digital marketing services such as SEO, social media marketing, web development, branding or content marketing
• Experience managing the full sales cycle and closing deals
• Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and their value to business growth
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to work independently and handle several opportunities at once
• Results-driven mindset focused on revenue targets
