Civil Site Engineer - Cairo

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Civil Site Engineer in Cairo. The engineer oversees day-to-day operations at the construction site, making sure projects follow approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety guidelines and timelines. The role links the technical office, contractors, consultants and the site workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil works such as excavation, foundations, concrete, formwork and finishing.
• Make sure works follow approved drawings, specifications and the construction schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and site staff.
• Inspect materials and workmanship regularly.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for the Senior/Team Leader Engineer.
• Help resolve technical issues and propose site solutions.
• Ensure HSE compliance on site.
• Check quantities and help prepare bills of quantities, material take-offs and site measurements.
• Review and interpret construction and shop drawings.
• Monitor site logistics, equipment and manpower.
• Take part in site meetings and keep accurate site records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• At least 1 year of experience in civil site engineering.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

Required skills

• AutoCAD, MS Project and MS Office.
• Familiarity with site safety practices and quality standards.
