Commercial Development Support (CPD Sales Support)

About the role

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, is looking for a Commercial Development support to build customer relationships and provide efficient, accurate project and customer support. The position is based in 6th of October, Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders, inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain an ongoing relationship with selected customers and sales staff.
• Use knowledge of products, availability, sales territories and individual customers to act as a key communication link to the customer.
• Build customer relationships and provide projects and customer support with maximum efficiency and accuracy.
• Organize training for new joiners.

Required profile

• Ideally 3-5 years of experience in sales service and/or supply chain, with a minimum of 3 years in commercial or logistics/supply chain support roles in an international environment.
• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
• Fluent in English, Arabic and French (speaking, writing and reading).
• Reliable, honest and respectful, with a customer-focused mindset and strong data orientation.

Required skills

• Computing skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Pricing strategy and negotiation skills.
• Salesforce and/or SAP knowledge is a plus; SAP and CRM experience is a bonus, with in-house training provided.
