Corporate Governance Specialist – Legal Entity Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Corporate Governance Specialist to join our Legal Entity Governance team in Cairo. The role supports GE Vernova business units across MENAT and Sub‑Saharan Africa, ensuring efficient management of legal entity structures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full life‑cycle of legal entities, including creation, maintenance, dissolution and simplification.
• Coordinate board and committee meetings, record minutes, and facilitate board communications.
• Advise entity boards on roles and responsibilities and orient new directors.
• Maintain corporate documents and entity data in centralized systems.
• Ensure compliance with jurisdictional corporate laws and support legal compliance reporting.
• Implement global governance policies locally and monitor governance developments.
• Collaborate with business counsels, finance, tax, operations and external counsel to drive process improvements.
• Support digitalisation and automation initiatives for governance workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related legal qualification.
• Qualified attorney, paralegal or Company Secretary certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal entity corporate governance.
• Strong understanding of corporate law and governance practices.
