Facilities Maintenance Engineer (Civil & Structural)

About the role

The company is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Engineer to ensure the structural integrity and operational efficiency of its factories, offices, and warehouses in Alsadat City, Monufya. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing maintenance activities across civil, mechanical, and safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and implement repair plans for buildings, roofs, flooring, masonry, carpentry, painting, and doors/windows.
• Maintain domestic plumbing, sanitary systems, office HVAC, and facility lighting.
• Manage exterior assets such as roads, parking lots, sidewalks, fencing, gates, landscaping, and drainage.
• Oversee fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lighting, and evacuation routes to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate and supervise third‑party contractors for civil repairs, cleaning, pest control, waste management, and landscaping.
• Develop and track preventive and corrective maintenance schedules using the CMMS.
• Assist with office space planning, furniture upkeep, and inventory of spare parts and tools.
• Monitor maintenance expenses, prepare technical reports, and evaluate contractor performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in facility management, civil maintenance, or building services, preferably in a large‑scale industrial setting.
• Strong project‑management and leadership abilities.
• Effective problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Structural maintenance and building code knowledge.
• Fire protection system maintenance.
• HVAC and plumbing systems upkeep.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for reading and updating blueprints.
• Experience with CMMS software for work order and preventive maintenance tracking.
