Mechanical Construction Team Leader (Cairo)

About the role

The Mechanical Construction Team Leader is responsible for leading and supervising a construction crew on‑site, ensuring tasks are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project plans and schedules. This role serves as the primary link between the workforce and management, fostering clear communication and effective coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of skilled and unskilled workers to execute construction activities on site.
• Ensure work complies with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and meet daily and weekly targets.
• Report progress, delays, or issues to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials efficiently and ensure proper maintenance.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce safety procedures.
• Assist in solving on‑site problems and adjust work plans as needed.
• Coordinate with other trades (civil, MEP, etc.) to avoid conflicts.
• Maintain discipline and a productive work environment.
• Ensure quality workmanship and report deviations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in construction.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and site operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
