Head of Information Security

About the role

As the Head of Information Security for Mashreq Bank Egypt, you will own the bank’s information security function in the country, leading the design and implementation of a forward‑looking security programme.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a future‑proof information security agenda that protects the bank’s digital assets.
• Lead enterprise‑wide security resilience initiatives across all business units.
• Collaborate closely with the Group Head of Information Security to ensure alignment with the Group’s overall security strategy.
• Provide strategic guidance and oversight for risk management, governance and compliance activities within Egypt.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in information security within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of risk management and security governance frameworks.
• Ability to work in close partnership with regional and global security teams.
