Healthcare Nutrition Specialist – Medical Representative

About the role

Danone MENA seeks a Healthcare Nutrition Specialist (Medical Representative) to promote its Specialized Nutrition portfolio in the Haram area of Egypt. You will act as the scientific bridge between Danone’s nutrition solutions and healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring they receive accurate product information and clinical evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Visit hospitals, clinics and private practices regularly to build scientific‑based relationships with HCPs and KOLs.
• Deliver audio‑visual presentations and seminars that illustrate the benefits of Danone’s nutrition solutions.
• Identify business opportunities, develop area plans, and execute a weekly call cycle in coordination with the manager.
• Monitor competitor activities, collect market intelligence and propose counter‑measures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge, handle queries and complaints, and ensure compliance with WHO and local regulations for infant formula.
• Prepare and submit promotional activity reports and quarterly business plans.
• Manage daily database entries and adhere to administrative procedures.
• Participate in team meetings, share market insights and support the organization of events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in healthcare or nutrition product promotion.
• Ability to communicate scientific data effectively to HCPs.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with doctors, pharmacists and key opinion leaders.
• Understanding of WHO guidelines and local ethical codes for infant nutrition.
