HSE Site Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HSE Site Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental activities on a major energy project. The role involves ensuring full compliance with local and international HSE regulations, company standards and client requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE plans, policies and procedures.
• Lead site safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near‑misses and unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions are applied.
• Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programmes for all site personnel.
• Monitor subcontractor HSE performance and prepare regular HSE reports and compliance documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of HSE experience, with significant exposure to energy, power or infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in a managerial HSE role on large‑scale construction projects.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA are highly preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
