Industrial Engineer – Production & Process Improvement

About the role

ABB is looking for an Industrial Engineer to help optimise production processes, reduce waste and improve efficiency across its operations in Egypt. You will work closely with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and international engineering teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse production costs, cycle times and resource utilisation, and propose improvements to minimise waste.
• Provide technical input for supplier selection and qualification, evaluating capabilities, processes and quality systems.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and global engineering teams to implement design improvements and standardise processes.
• Develop and implement production processes for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with specifications, quality standards and cost targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent certification.
• 0‑3 years of experience in production, process or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a change‑management mindset.
