About the role
We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join the BRAIN team. The role supports senior engineers on engineering projects, focusing on standard design tasks, documentation, and data analysis within an automotive or related industry environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in executing engineering projects, applying standard design rules and existing methodologies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications and test reports.
- Collect, analyse, and report technical data to aid decision‑making.
- Demonstrate awareness of project budgets and strive for efficient resource use.
- Follow the discipline’s digitalisation roadmap and contribute to continuous improvement ideas.
Required profile
- 0–2 years of experience in engineering activities, preferably in automotive or related sectors.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and industry standards.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer‑aided design (CAD) tools.
