Mechanical/Electrical Technical Office Engineer

About the role

The Technical Office Engineer will support the MEP design and commissioning process for projects in Heliopolis. You will work closely with design, site and project teams to ensure all documentation is accurate, complete and aligned with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review MEP design packages – drawings, submittals, reports, calculations and equipment data sheets – and provide clear comments.
• Check design information for completeness, consistency and compliance with project and commissioning requirements.
• Prepare commissioning documents using company templates, including plans, method statements, ITPs and test checklists.
• Produce review comments and documentation in French, maintaining consistent wording.
• Maintain project registers, asset lists, comment logs and defect trackers.
• Update and organize documentation as feedback is received from project and site teams.
• Compile progress and status reports for the technical office and project managers.
• Coordinate remotely with design, site and project teams to gather necessary information.
• Ensure files are version‑controlled and stored according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in MEP design, technical office or commissioning.
• Fluent French (spoken and written) and working proficiency in English.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to follow standard templates and procedures.
