Procurement Lead – Egypt

About the role

The Procurement Lead will be responsible for driving supplier negotiations, managing contracts, and delivering cost‑saving initiatives for Solenis in Egypt. This role supports both internal demand and customer‑related procurement activities, ensuring optimal cash flow and sustainability outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate favorable terms, volume discounts and long‑term contracts with suppliers.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for goods, services and supplies.
• Lead cost‑savings projects and generate PPV ideas to improve cash flow.
• Develop the annual operating plan in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Drive vendor development, improve payment terms and enhance net working capital.
• Achieve 95% OTIF for finished goods from contract manufacturers.
• Onboard suppliers that contribute to the company’s sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement and supplier negotiations.
• Ability to manage contracts and drive cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills to develop operating plans and PPV ideas.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers and cross‑functional teams.
