Projects Manager – Supply Chain & Continuous Improvement

About the role

As a Projects Manager you will lead cross‑functional supply chain initiatives that drive continuous improvement, cost savings and operational excellence across our manufacturing footprint. You will work closely with functional leaders, deployment teams and enterprise excellence to deliver measurable results that support our financial targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute supply chain projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Identify, quantify and prioritize process‑improvement opportunities and associated risks.
• Remove organizational barriers by collaborating with deployment leaders, functional managers and enterprise excellence.
• Participate in project selection, benefit analysis and resource allocation.
• Apply DMAIC and 7‑step tools to eliminate waste and achieve efficient states.
• Plan, monitor and communicate project status through presentations and reports.
• Train and mentor team members on continuous‑improvement techniques.
• Model operational excellence and change‑management behaviors.
• Leverage internal and external best practices to enhance project outcomes.
• Present project results to regional and market leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 6‑8 years of experience in project management, continuous improvement or Six Sigma within a manufacturing environment, preferably chemical.
• Proven ability to drive change and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and operations.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
• Self‑driven, results‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Lean, DMAIC and 7‑step continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Financial acumen (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
