Purchasing Team Leader – Construction & Fit‑Out

About the role

LEEDS FIT-OUT is seeking a proactive Purchasing Team Leader to drive cost‑effective procurement for its construction and fit‑out projects in Sheikh Zayed, Giza. You will lead a dedicated purchasing team, ensuring that material requirements are met on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the purchasing team to guarantee timely and cost‑efficient procurement.
• Review material specifications and requirements to align with quality and budget goals.
• Manage supplier quotations, negotiate terms, and coordinate delivery schedules.
• Evaluate and compare suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
• Maintain purchase requisitions, purchase orders, quotations, and purchasing records.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.
• Resolve purchasing issues while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in construction or fit‑out.
• Previous team‑leadership experience is preferred.
• Very good command of English.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities.

• Construction materials knowledge.
