Quality Project Manager - Red Sea

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Quality Project Manager for its Red Sea projects. The role leads the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across all construction projects, ensuring that activities, materials and workmanship meet contractual requirements, international standards and regulatory obligations. It acts as the main authority on quality matters, oversees quality teams and works with project leadership, consultants and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, implement and continuously improve the QMS in line with ISO 9001 and relevant standards
• Ensure audit compliance (internal, client, third-party) and timely closure of non-conformities
• Approve and maintain quality procedures, method statements, ITPs and related documentation
• Oversee quality assurance so work complies with drawings, specifications and codes
• Direct inspection, testing and verification of materials and workmanship
• Manage major quality issues and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Mentor quality staff and represent the company in client, consultant and regulatory quality meetings
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Procurement and HSE teams, and review quality reports, NCRs, CARs and dashboards
• Monitor KPIs, analyse trends and recommend improvements, and train staff on quality standards

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline
• At least 12 years in QA/QC on large-scale construction projects, including 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Experience planning, leading and closing internal, client and third-party audits
• Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Six Sigma are highly desirable

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction codes, specifications and standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, BS)
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder influence
