Remote BMC Helix Administrator

About the role

As a Remote BMC Helix Administrator at Müller's Solutions you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation, optimisation and reliability of Helix Core environments that support both development and production workloads. You will collaborate with software teams to embed best‑practice version‑control and CI/CD processes while ensuring high availability and performance of the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Helix Core server instances, including user, repository and permission management.
• Design, implement and optimise branching, merging and release‑management workflows.
• Monitor system health, perform performance tuning and conduct regular health‑checks.
• Provide troubleshooting and timely support for Helix‑related incidents.
• Execute regular backups and develop disaster‑recovery plans for repositories.
• Document configurations, processes and changes in line with company policies.
• Stay informed on Helix platform updates and recommend enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience administering Helix Core or comparable version‑control systems.
• Proven experience integrating Helix with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Relevant Helix certifications or training is a plus.

Required skills

• Helix Core administration.
• CI/CD tooling and pipeline integration.
• Scripting with Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Familiarity with Git and SVN.
