Senior BIM Coordinator

About the role

Innovo Group is looking for a Senior BIM Coordinator in Cairo. The role delivers high-quality BIM models, drawings and coordination for projects and acts as the technical reference for BIM on site. It covers planning, production, review, quality, software development, data management, R&D and project supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Plan: confirm validation of received design models at LOD 350-400 or creation of models from scratch, and follow the BIM Execution Plan and engineering plan
• Produce: study design drawings, BOQ and specifications; create Revit templates; validate Revit families against Innovo standards; prepare visual coordination and clash reports, and audit reports on model health, quality and coordination
• Review: ensure BIM standards, naming conventions and folder structure are followed by all BIM unit members; perform quality checks on models, workflows and extracted information; prepare 4D and 5D models before submission; review clash reports and assign issues; record lessons learned
• Interface: attend BIM coordination workshops with BIM Deputy Manager and team leaders, report progress to BIM Manager and line managers, and keep Autodesk Construction Cloud processes running without delay
• Quality: check model elements and families, ensure adherence to project standards and that each person follows their assigned roles and workflows
• Software development and automation: build custom Revit add-ins, scripts and extensions with Revit API, Dynamo, Python, C# or similar; automate repetitive tasks, parameter management, data extraction and model validation; create rule-based QA/QC tools
• BIM data management: build data pipelines between BIM platforms and databases, dashboards or cloud systems; integrate BIM with ERP, GIS, CDE, digital twins and asset management software; support interoperability with IFC, BCF, COBie and ISO 19650 metadata; maintain standard data schemas and naming conventions
• R&D and innovation: identify digital transformation opportunities and prototype new digital products, automation libraries and machine learning enhancements for model analysis
• Supervision: supervise all projects according to the scope of work

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience
• Experience in BIM management processes, preferably in the construction industry
• Experience with software development lifecycles (Git, testing, version control) is a plus
