Structural Engineer - Egypt

About the role

Artelia, an international engineering, consulting and project management group, is hiring a Structural Engineer for its Egypt office. The engineer works closely with the Dubai office on structural design and construction supervision of concrete, steel and composite structures, in line with international standards and authority requirements, and coordinates with multidisciplinary teams across Egypt and Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis according to ACI, AISC, ASCE and local codes.
• Build and develop accurate structural models using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, Robot and Revit.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across the Egypt and Dubai offices.
• Drive value engineering studies to improve cost-efficiency, safety and constructability.
• Prepare, compile and manage authority submission packages for Dubai and GCC regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of structural engineering experience, including proven work on GCC projects.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong stakeholder management and experience in multi-office environments.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE, KSA and international design codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE).

Required skills

• Mastery of ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC and ASCE design codes.
