Warehouse Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will lead all physical warehouse operations for raw materials, components, work‑in‑process, finished goods, spare parts and consumables. This hands‑on role ensures accurate custody, traceability and timely material flow to support uninterrupted production in a high‑volume manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete warehouse cycle – receiving, verification, put‑away, storage, picking, issue/transfer, finished‑goods receipt and dispatch.
• Control all inter‑warehouse and production‑floor material movements, ensuring every movement is documented and approved in the ERP system.
• Maintain structured warehouse locations, bin coding, labeling and FIFO or other rotation rules to guarantee traceability.
• Organise and execute cycle counts, periodic counts and annual physical inventory, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure ERP transactions are accurate and synchronized with physical movements, maintaining complete supporting documentation.
• Coordinate daily with Production, Planning, Quality and Finance to meet material requirements and resolve shortages or abnormal patterns.
• Lead and develop Warehouse Supervisors, Storekeepers and workers, defining shifts, responsibilities and performance expectations.
• Promote safe storage, handling and 5S standards, controlling access and protecting inventory assets.
• Participate in warehouse restructuring, ERP implementation and continuous‑improvement projects, providing operational input and testing support.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years of warehouse experience, including 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role within manufacturing.
• Hands‑on, highly organised, process‑disciplined with a strong shop‑floor presence and the ability to enforce documentation discipline.
