Windows & Virtualization Associate Manager

About the role

Design, implement and maintain enterprise Windows Server platforms while leading virtualization environments. The role combines Windows domain expertise with VMware or Hyper‑V management to ensure reliable, secure infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain enterprise Windows Server platforms including AD, ADFS, GPO, DNS and DHCP.
• Lead VMware ESXi/vCenter (or Hyper‑V) virtualization environments, handling resource optimization, DR failover/failback and integration with storage and backup solutions.
• Automate patching, provisioning, monitoring and compliance using PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS and PowerCLI.
• Drive security hardening, vulnerability remediation and compliance with frameworks such as NDMO and NCA.
• Mentor L1/L2 team members and conduct root‑cause analysis for major incidents.

Required profile

• 8+ years of combined experience in Windows Server and virtualization engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent Microsoft certification; ITIL Foundation preferred.

Required skills

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, ADFS, GPO, DNS, DHCP.
• VMware vSphere, vCenter, SRM, RP4VM or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible, SCCM/WSUS scripting and automation.
• Knowledge of security baselines (CIS), NDMO, NCA compliance frameworks.
• Experience with backup solutions such as Commvault.
