3PL Logistics Manager

About the role

The 3PL Logistics Manager is responsible for strategically overseeing all third‑party logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory management, co‑packing and distribution of L'Oréal products. The role ensures efficient, compliant and cost‑effective product flow from receipt to final delivery while supporting the company's Future‑Fit Ready growth ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with 3PL providers.
• Define, monitor and enforce SLAs and KPIs to guarantee service quality and efficiency.
• Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments with 3PL partners.
• Oversee contract compliance, scope management and support negotiations and renewals.
• Monitor 3PL‑related costs, identify savings and ensure budget compliance.
• Ensure accurate inbound receiving, put‑away, storage, picking, packing and outbound dispatch at 3PL warehouses.
• Drive inventory accuracy initiatives together with the Stock Controller.
• Collaborate on warehouse layout optimisation and material handling processes.
• Guarantee compliance with L'Oréal quality, safety and GMP standards.
• Manage primary and secondary distribution channels to achieve on‑time, damage‑free deliveries.
• Work with the W&D Supervisor to optimise transportation routes and methods.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of direct reports, setting objectives and conducting performance appraisals.
