Academic Assistant for Applied Behavior Analysis

About the role
The Louisiana State University of Alexandria seeks an Academic Assistant to support online courses that focus on Applied Behavior Analysis. Working within the university’s Moodle environment, you will help ensure students receive timely feedback and a high‑quality learning experience.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to student inquiries via email promptly.
- Grade assignments using established rubrics.
- Rate and monitor discussion‑forum contributions.
- Send weekly reminders and announcements to enrolled students.
- Collaborate with faculty and supervisors to meet course needs throughout the term.
Required profile
- Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Ability to follow LSUA training requirements such as FERPA, sexual harassment, cybersecurity, and Moodle compliance.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Moodle learning‑management system.
