Account Manager – Oil & Gas Services

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Account Manager to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, understanding training needs, and driving revenue through strategic account management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned client accounts, develop strong relationships and understand their training needs.
• Develop and present proposals to secure new business and achieve revenue targets.
• Oversee account growth through strategic planning, client engagement and proactive communication.
• Identify and address client concerns, providing solutions and ensuring satisfaction.
• Track and analyze client data to improve performance and identify cross‑selling opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing and product teams to deliver solutions exceeding expectations.
• Prepare and deliver regular reports on client activity and performance metrics.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geoscience, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 2–7 years of experience in account management or a similar role with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle, negotiation and the oil & gas industry landscape.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and conferences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Experience using data analysis tools.
