Account Opening Officer – Operations (Fresh Graduate)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated fresh graduate to join our Operations Department as an Account Opening Officer. The role focuses on creating and maintaining corporate bank accounts while ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Register data related to credit limits, loans and guarantees based on approved credit decisions.
• Open new corporate accounts (local and foreign currency) after verifying completeness and accuracy of all submitted documents.
• Scan and archive original documents daily for future reference and audit purposes.
• Check company and shareholder names against blacklist databases to prevent fraud and money‑laundering.
• Perform FATCA reviews and ensure proper KYC documentation.
• Execute customer signatures in the banking system after validating supporting documents.
• Handle daily account maintenance tasks, including account type changes, sub‑account creation, branch updates, segmentation, and dormant account management.
• Process guarantees (hold, freeze, release) and ensure they are not improperly blocked.
• Prepare and submit CBE‑specific reports and requests related to corporate account maintenance.
• Register corporate customers on ADIB Pay and internet banking platforms.
• Report any irregularities, participate in UAT testing, and manage customer complaints in coordination with compliance teams.

Required profile

• Recent graduate (fresh graduate) with a strong interest in banking operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to verify documentation accurately.
• Understanding of credit approvals, FATCA, KYC and anti‑money‑laundering procedures.
• Analytical mindset with capability to produce periodic reports.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
