Accountant – Finance Operations (Hybrid, Cairo)

About the role

The Accountant will support QHSSE PLATFORM’s financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, reporting and analysis of transactions. Working in a hybrid setting from Cairo, you will collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to maintain strong internal controls and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and post entries in the general ledger.
• Prepare, review and process invoices, accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing activities.
• Produce financial reports and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws and MEA‑region regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
• 3‑5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while upholding high ethical standards.
