Accountant – Finance Team in Cairo

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Cairo. The role involves managing daily accounting activities, supporting reporting and ensuring compliance with Egyptian standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Review invoices, expense claims, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
• Support payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Assist in tax preparation and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections when needed.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards and company policies.
• Support management with financial analysis and ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Good communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
