Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role
The Accountant will join MRSA Egypt’s finance team in Cairo, handling day‑to‑day financial operations for a leading medical equipment distributor. This full‑time, on‑site position supports accurate reporting, cash‑flow management, and compliance with Egyptian accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and inventory accounts.
- Monitor cash flow and support budgeting, cost analysis, and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, assist auditors, and drive process improvements.
Required profile
- Strong fundamentals in accounting, ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with AP/AR, invoicing, and cash‑flow monitoring.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and effective communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or distribution is a plus.
