Accountant – Full‑time, Cairo

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Accountant position is based in Cairo and supports Al Sharkawy Advanced Systems' finance function. The role involves managing daily accounting activities, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present periodic financial statements and reports.
• Manage budgets, monitor transactions, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Reconcile accounts, process payroll, and handle vendor invoices.
• Assist with financial forecasting, budgeting, and audit preparation.
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial accounting, bookkeeping, and financial analysis.
• Experience preparing financial statements, budgeting, and tax reporting.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
• Prior experience in the construction or energy sector is advantageous.
