Accountant – Procure-to-Pay Shared Services

About the role

The Accountant – Procure-to-Pay Shared Services will ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting while supporting the broader finance team. You will handle transaction processing, vendor payments, and maintain up‑to‑date master data, contributing to the company’s sustainable innovation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal and external supplier transactions in line with internal controls.
• Address accounts payable inquiries and investigations promptly.
• Prepare payment proposals, maintain vendor master data, and execute payments on schedule.
• Process invoices, debit/credit notes, bank receipts, and payments.
• Maintain vendor and customer reconciliations, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and respond to queries.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, and accruals.
• Assist audit preparation by providing required documentation.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports for the Business Controller and management.
• Support automation initiatives by helping implement efficiency‑enhancing tools.

Required profile

• Analytical, proactive, solution‑oriented and deadline‑driven.
• Excellent communication skills; well‑organized and systematic.
• Team player with a willingness to learn.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• University degree in Accounting, Business or Finance.
• Strong command of English; additional language is a plus.
