Accountant (remote)

The role involves day‑to‑day ownership of accounting and financial administration for Nexus Analytica Egypt. The accountant will maintain complete and accurate records in Odoo, process revenues, expenses, supplier invoices and customer invoices, ensure proper classification in the chart of accounts and manage cost centres. Responsibilities include preparing and issuing customer invoices in line with contracts and Egyptian e‑invoicing requirements, handling accounts‑receivable ageing and follow‑up, reviewing supplier invoices, allocating expenses to projects, and processing approved expense reimbursements. The accountant will perform bank reconciliations, prepare VAT calculations and filings, manage withholding‑tax and corporate income‑tax documentation, and support payroll accounting entries while maintaining confidentiality. Monthly closing tasks involve reconciling ledgers, preparing management reports and identifying unusual transactions. The position also requires acting as the functional owner of accounting processes within Odoo, ensuring compliance with Egyptian tax law and supporting external auditors and tax advisers.
