Accounting Manager

About the role

The company is a leading fashion and retail group that manages internationally recognized premium brands. It seeks an Accounting Manager to oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support a high‑performing finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, manage accounts payable and receivable, and handle e‑invoicing and receipt processing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements together with required reconciliations.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities to meet reporting deadlines.
• File monthly VAT tax returns, prepare withholding tax filings, and manage e‑invoice submissions via the tax portal.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff to improve accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Develop and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Required profile

• Up to 4 years of experience as an Accounting Manager, Supervisor, or senior accountant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, analytical mindset, and high attention to detail.
• Self‑starter able to work effectively in a small team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (preferred), Oracle, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
