Accounting Services Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Services Specialist at Azadea's Business Services is responsible for supporting the delivery of professional accounting services and ensuring accurate and efficient maintenance of financial records in line with company policies and procedures. He/she focuses on ensuring the accuracy of financial data and compliance with accounting standards while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records to ensure data accuracy and availability for analysis and reporting.
• Identify and address routine errors in financial data, ensuring timely corrections and adherence to standards.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing accurate and timely financial information and assist in preparing documentation required for financial and operational audits.
• Prepare routine reports based on statistical and functional metrics, adhering to specified schedules for management review, and assist in monitoring financial performance metrics to support decision‑making processes.
• Ensure timely closure of general ledger accounts in accordance with the established period‑end calendar, executing necessary adjustments and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review and validate financial data to ensure alignment with company policies and accounting standards, investigating and resolving discrepancies in financial inputs to maintain reliable records.
• Ensure the delivery and maintenance of a high level of customer service, meeting internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and promptly following up on requests to ensure satisfaction among internal customers.

Required profile

• Fluency in English; fluency in French is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Two to four years of relevant experience.
