Accounts Receivable Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing a team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the accounts receivable team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts receivable process.
• Review and reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate accounts receivable staff, providing ongoing feedback.
• Prepare and present reports on accounts receivable performance and trends to senior management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry best practices and accounting regulations, recommending process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented and highly organized.
