AI Engineer

About the role

The AI Engineer will join Tuba’s product team in 6 October City, Egypt, to develop intelligent solutions that optimise employee healthcare benefits. Working on‑site, you will design, train and deploy machine‑learning models that transform complex benefits data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI models for benefits optimisation, including neural networks and pattern‑recognition systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Implement machine‑learning algorithms, process large structured and unstructured datasets, and perform feature engineering.
• Integrate AI solutions into production‑grade software and maintain MLOps pipelines.
• Develop and maintain NLP pipelines to interpret and structure benefits‑related text.
• Monitor model performance, conduct evaluations, and iterate to improve accuracy, reliability and scalability.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and software engineering principles.
• Proficiency in AI/ML techniques such as neural networks and pattern recognition.
• Hands‑on experience with Natural Language Processing and text‑processing pipelines.
• Practical experience using Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn).
• Ability to work with both structured and unstructured data, including preprocessing and feature engineering.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and clear communication of technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in healthcare or benefits management, and familiarity with cloud platforms and MLOps practices, is a plus.
