Arabic Teacher

About the role

The International School of Choueifat is seeking a qualified Arabic Teacher to deliver the SABIS® curriculum to students in 6 October, Egypt. The role focuses on enabling student success, academic achievement and fostering a supportive learning environment in line with the SABIS® educational philosophy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Arabic lessons using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts, applying the SABIS® point system.
• Mark examinations and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department as needed.
• Maintain a conducive classroom environment by implementing the SABIS® point system.
• Invigilate exams and support a well‑managed examination setting.
• Provide additional assistance to low‑performing students to motivate and improve their outcomes.
• Assist with external exam preparation, including reviewing past papers according to the revision schedule.
• Perform ancillary duties such as supervising lunches, bus organization, traffic control, and other administrative tasks assigned by school management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Proficiency in Arabic language.
• Competence in using MS Office applications.
• Strong communication skills.
