Architectural Quantity Surveyor – Mid & Senior Roles

About the role

DG Jones and Partners is seeking experienced Architectural Quantity Surveyors to join its team in Egypt. Two positions are available: a mid‑level role requiring at least three years of experience and a senior role requiring seven or more years. Both positions involve delivering accurate quantity take‑offs, cost estimates and technical reviews for architectural projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare precise quantity take‑offs and measurements for architectural works.
• Develop and review comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates to support budgeting and tendering.
• Conduct technical reviews of project documents, including drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams.
• Support commercial reporting and pre‑contract quantity surveying activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years (mid level) or 7 years (senior level) of relevant Architectural Quantity Surveying experience.
• Strong command of English and excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Familiarity with standard methods of measurement (POMI, NRM) and industry best practices.
