About the role
Talabat is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead the Operations Training function for its Shared Services Centre. You will shape training strategy, ensure alignment with operational goals, and drive consistent, scalable learning experiences across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Define and govern training priorities that support quality, productivity and readiness KPIs.
- Approve training calendars and content created by trainers and subject‑matter experts.
- Supervise Trainers and the Training Coordinator, set performance KPIs and monitor delivery quality.
- Partner with SMEs, Operations, HR and Workforce Planning to keep training content up‑to‑date with SOPs and hiring forecasts.
- Oversee onboarding, nesting and refresher programmes, ensuring measurable readiness outcomes.
- Review and report on nesting results, trainer performance and trainee readiness.
- Champion innovation in learning, such as blended learning, gamification and digital enablement.
Required profile
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop training teams.
- Strategic thinker capable of aligning training initiatives with business objectives.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate with operations, HR and SMEs.
- Analytical mindset with experience reviewing performance data and reporting.
