Assistant Pool & Beach Manager

About the role

Join the vibrant team at Swissotel Sharm El Sheikh as an Assistant Pool & Beach Manager. You will support the Recreation Manager in delivering safe, high‑quality pool, beach and sea‑based experiences for our guests, while upholding the resort’s luxury service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily operations of swimming pools, beaches and sea activities.
• Supervise lifeguards, beach staff and recreation personnel to ensure smooth, safe service.
• Coordinate and implement guest‑focused recreational programs and special events.
• Monitor equipment condition, report maintenance needs and ensure cleanliness of all facilities.
• Provide training, mentorship and certification oversight for recreation staff.
• Manage lifeguard scheduling, guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Support budget management and promote eco‑friendly water‑sport practices.
• Step in for the Recreation Manager when required and respond to weather‑related safety concerns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in recreation management, parks and recreation or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in recreation or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership, supervisory and organisational abilities.
• Excellent time‑management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current First Aid certification.
