Assistant Store Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

Vodafone is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations in Aswan. You will help ensure smooth store functioning, drive sales performance and contribute to the overall profitability of the retail outlet.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve assigned strategic sales targets across multiple product lines, including Consumer Voice, Post‑paid, Enterprise and Connectivity.
• Motivate the team to upsell and cross‑sell Vodafone products, driving month‑on‑month revenue and margin growth.
• Monitor sales quality, improve closure rates and manage variance reports with corrective actions.
• Oversee end‑of‑day cash processes and enforce cash handling policies.
• Provide regular coaching, feedback and development plans to team members.
• Maintain high‑quality customer service, handle complaints and aim to reduce complaint rates.
• Ensure accurate inventory control, stock‑taking and adherence to agreed stock levels.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, scheduling and internal communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months of experience in retail or store management.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a sales team.
• Strong focus on customer centricity and service quality.
