About the role

The American University in Cairo’s Onsi Sawiris School of Business seeks a faculty member at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level in Finance for a fixed‑term four‑year appointment starting Fall 2027. The role involves teaching finance courses, supervising graduate theses, and advancing research.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate finance courses, including introductory classes.
• Supervise Master of Science in Finance theses.
• Develop a world‑class research portfolio and lead a diverse research team.
• Collaborate with business and industry partners on emerging‑market finance issues, especially in the Middle East and Africa.
• Participate in departmental activities and academic‑community development projects.

Required profile
