Associate Professor – Medical Faculty

About the role

Cairo University’s Kasr AlAiny School of Medicine is seeking a full‑time Associate Professor to join its faculty. The role involves teaching, research, mentorship, and academic administration within a leading medical education environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and lead practical sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
• Mentor students and junior staff, providing academic and career guidance.
• Conduct clinical and medical research, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals, and contribute to grant writing.
• Collaborate with industry partners on research projects and innovation initiatives.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental planning, and academic committees.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree (or equivalent) in medicine or a related field.
• Proven teaching experience with strong student‑mentoring abilities.
• Demonstrated record of clinical or medical research and publications.
• Experience in curriculum design and academic governance.
• Leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to an inclusive academic environment.
• Experience with international collaborations is advantageous.
• Fluent English communication; Arabic proficiency preferred but not mandatory.
