Associate Scientist, Formulation Development / R&D Pharmacist

About the role

We are looking for an Associate Scientist to join our Formulation Development and R&D Pharmacy team. The role will support the design, execution and documentation of formulation experiments for new pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely progress toward scale‑up and technology transfer.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature surveys and perform pre‑formulation and formulation trials for new products.
• Document all observations and results in accordance with SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Operate laboratory instruments and equipment following validated procedures.
• Prepare samples for stability and bio‑equivalence studies.
• Execute pilot, scale‑up and validation batches and generate the necessary batch documentation.
• Follow occupational safety and waste management procedures.
• Support any additional tasks related to product development as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical formulation principles.
• Familiarity with GMP standards and laboratory best practices.

Required skills

• Pre‑formulation and formulation development.
• Stability and bio‑equivalence study preparation.
• Pilot scale‑up and validation batch execution.
• Use of laboratory instrumentation under SOPs.
